Commodity: 13 units of equipment for petroleum refining in Santa Elena for Petroecuador
Project challenges: The equipment originated in Argentina and destined for Santa Elena. The cargo was received at the port of Guayaquil and transferred to a waiting barge. Due to the size of the equipment, these could not be received at the port terminal; therefore, a barge was placed along the ship for its subsequent transport to Puerto Hondo, and from there by truck to the Santa Elena refinery.
